Husband/ Dad leaving home for the first time

My husband is leaving soon to do a 12 week training for a trucking company. My one concern is our 2.5 year old that has never been away from daddy more then 24 hours at a time.

How do I tell him daddy isn't going to be home every night like he is use to him being?

Maybe you can wait till your baby comes to you and asks where is Daddy then call Daddy on the phone to talk with him.

Maybe you can get an agreement going with your husband to make this work?

Then maybe the baby will adjust to hearing his voice and this might help him out a little.

There is no real cure for missing someone but there may be at least a quick fix to help out for the meantime.

This is only a suggestion this may not work for everyone and just some encouraging words to help out another person to find out what works for them and their situation.
