How to put the spark back in the relationship

My partner and I have been together 2 and a half years and she started driving OTR in March. We have been very happy together, but I just learned that since the end of April she hasn't felt the "spark" and isn't "in love" with me anymore.


She says she still loves me and wants this relationship to work, and I do to. Funds are limited as I'm looking for work and we just moved at the beginning of this month to be closer to her terminal.

I know it's inevitable for the spark to go out of a long term relationship, but how do you get it back when it seems like the reason it left is that damn truck??? Thanks for any advice ladies...

why didn't you go otr with her get youe cdl and team drive show her thats how much you love her

well it is hard to have a relationship when you are away from one another , but it is possible i see romance as not flowers or candy. it is that my truck driver husband is plugged into our relationship and our kids he is always interested in our lives and loves us . it is easy when you are a trucker to become independant and used to being alone and when you are with your significant other they feel like your not really there conecting to the family. it is alot of hard work the best thing to do is talk and see what is important to your partner because not everyones need are the same . and maybe you wont agree but listen that is so important you may think you need to fix somthing but she really needs you to hear her not fix things . because i am sure she knows how hard you work and being a trucker puts you in a hard spot you have to make money but you need to have family time too . its a fine line if you love one another i am sure you will make it work .
