He's home only 2 days a month

I’ve been dating my truck driver boyfriend for 2years, I went into the relationship believing he was starting a new business.

I was wrong after his taking off 4 months, he decided that this business was not for him. So once agin he’s doing what he loves to do and that’s drive the road.

I’m a little heartbroken because I believed we would get to spend more time together. He’s here 2 days a month.

It Can Change For the Better

Good news! After he gets 6 months to a year experience, he can get home a little more often.

If not with that company, with a clean record he can find a trucking company that offers better home time. Thats assuming you live somewhere that supports it.

If you stay in the desert or somwhwere similar finding options would be more difficult.

Also if he has to stick it out longer than that, he could save to buy his own used truck and get home more often that way.

If that becomes the game plan then of course eliminate all extra debt and work on credit to support the business move of truck ownership.

If you have no kids and are not working you might be able to ride some in the mean time.
