Florida trucker needs advice and a job. Defending my wife and disciplining my child is causing me problems, what do I do?

i was placed on probation for child abuse ...story my son called his mother a bitch so yes i whipped his butt needless to say he was mad and went to school and told nosey people at the school who called the police and i was charged.

Now mind u they never took him away from us to this day i still take care of him the best i can but without a job i cant really take care of the family. since this happened it has been rough. went to court the judge said out of his mouth, "next time don't send him to school with welps." i told the judge im 33 and if i call my mother a bitch now i might not wake up.

i am hurting because i cant provide and to my knowledge a pbj is not a conviction so why am i being held like it is?

if u have any info that can help me...expungment is in the works but i also was told they can still see it. you tell the truth on your app and they throw it straight in the trash and if you lie when they find out they are gonna fire you anyway so what to do??

hey man im on probation for child abuse but anyway did you find a company that hired you? i wasnt convicted i was just charged and got put on probation.

i totally agree, the kids dont understand until there asses are talking to u through glass crying about can u get me out...lol....it hurts because i still take care of himn and he now is off the hook and bieng my stepson i am truly terrified to tear`the fur off his ass but i do i will not tolerate disrespect and you will not be a bad influence on my kids he knows i love him because i tell him daily but i also tell him its not gonna be accepted. your second point im gonna try that one anytime he asks for something im gonna say nope dont have the money because i cant get a job because you felt the need to tell so suck it up and deal with it.....

This is a good time to teach your child consequences tell him or her what they did was wrong and cuz of them calling the police on you when you tried to punish them for their misbehaviour Daddy is now unemployed and can no longer give the child the things they need. Consequences! Don't obey mom and dad you don't go out with your friends and have the money it requires to go out with friends. Or you wanna go that route? Be taken away by the police throw up your hands and say I'm done you call the police on me well fine go live in the system I really don't care anymore. haha that's what I think I would do if I had kids and they called the cops on me. I would walk them around the house and be like see how good you have it here cuz once you call the cops on me I will tell them to take you out of the home cuz it's "Soooo bad here" and you can go live in an orphange. Here's the phone you little punk call the cops I just wanted to raise you right and not allow you to disrespect your mom and dad which is what the good book teaches. Ok sorry about my rant I just had to get that out there hope it helps you.

This is what's wrong with our world today! Spare the rod spoil the child. I grew up in a day and age where I would get spanked at home I would get spanked at school and be grounded at home for years on end! I am 33 years old too. I grew up in a christian home a christian school. Kids today have no respect because they know they can get away with it and if they get punished they can call the cops cuz daddy "beats me". Umm no Daddy spanked you and those are two different animals. Spanked on the butt not a problem punched in the face is beating punched anywhere on the body yeah that's beating aka abuse. I have a friend who is a felon and he has five kids who all talk shit to him and he just won't beat their ass! they all deserve a spanking but he won't do it. He's afraid to go to jail over it. what do you do these days to punish your child for what they do wrong?
