I am a wife to a wonderful otr driver of 4 years(him driving).
We have 5 wonderful kids(all in their teens) and been married 13 years.
At first it was very hard for me when he started. We had been through so much. But what makes him our hero is the fact that he lost his left leg below the knee and never gave up.
He went and got his cdl's about 2 years after his accident(after being told he would never drive a stick again).
Yes we have our up's and down's but what couple does not. He has missed a lot but through pictures and phone calls he has been able to see everything.
I am glad I found this site as I hope to make new friends who deal with and go through the same emotions as I do.
