family vs independence

My husband Nathan just took a new job as a flat bed driver. The pay is better and we are very happy. His new job is out of north carolina and only haul on the eastern side of the country.
Meaning that our home in Texas isnt gonna cut it. We have to move, and thats that. But I am faced with a conumdrum. Should i move to Alabama and be closer to my family. Support is important when you alone with you two kids, right?
On the other side i am recieving alot of pressure from my sister to move closer to her in north carolina. True being closer to his job is better, but is it worth what i would have to give up?
Help!
