Drivers, There is a second chance trucking company.

I graduated from truck driving school on Jun 24, 2008. I had 4 felonies and 4 misdemeanors. I got all of them 2 years earlier. I had a job driving coast to coast on jul 1 2008. I asked the secretary at the trucking school for some help finding a job after telling her the trouble I had been in.

Well she gave me a number for a company called Carolina Cargo. They are out of Rock Hill, SC. I called the number and the owner of the company answered the phone and I told him my story. This is what he said "We are all about second chances, as long as you don't have a speeding ticket for running 20 mph over the posted speed limit we will hire you. I don't care if you have a murder charge, or a simple bad check on your record. We don't check criminal records." So I faxed them my mvr and about 2 hours later I received a phone call and it was the hr lady for Carolina cargo.

She said "How l9ong would it take for you to get to The terminal in Rock Hill, SC?" I said about 3 hours. She said well pack your things and come right now. Pack enough for three weeks. We'll put you in a hotel tonight and you will head out west with a trainer tomorrow morning.

I was so happy that somebody still believed in me. My first load was from Kings Mtn, NC, to Las Vegas, NV. I don't work there anymore I am driving local now that I have my experience, but I do take a regional run every once in while.
