My name is Dana I have 2 daughters ages 19 and 11, I have been with my husband for 13 years. He drove truck when we met, I was alright with it however I became very lonely, and felt like a single mom.

Then my husband got the opportunity to work in the office, which was awesome, he was home every night. He did this for 4 years, then due to the economy he has been sent back out to driving truck. I miss him so much and am becoming very lonely, we just recently moved to stony plain alberta from Edmonton, this has been extremely stressful on me.

I feel really isolated and far away from everyone and everything. This has caused some issues in my relationship with my husband. I know plenty of women whose husbands work away from home and they seem to be ok with it, I went through this my whole life with my father, and my mom was home with 3 kids alone all the time.

I just feel like I need someone to talk to other than my friends, they are great however they don't mind having their husbands away. Some days I feel so selfish for feeling like this.
