Company OTR driver, had accident, who pays for this? Me or the boss

I was in an accident in iL, I received the ticket. Am I responsible for paying for the damage? Who pays the insurance deductible, me or the boss/owner?

As far as I know, it depends on the law in that state whether they are allowed to charge you.

If they do charge you, it would have to be authorized in paperwork you sign, if they deduct it from your paycheck.

You might want to contact a lawyer in IL to find out for sure.
