I am 40 yrs old. I was married for 17 yrs., and am now re-married. I am a truck driver myself. I drive 525 miles round trip each day, so I am home every day.

I am also married to an Over The Road truck driver. I get the advantage of seeing the whole "trucker's life, and truck driver's wife life" from both sides of the coin.

I have a 20 yr old daughter and a 15 month old granddaughter. My ex-father-in-law was a trucker for 40 years. I've been around this kind of life for 22 years.

My now husband, comes from a family full of truck drivers.

Burning the candle at both ends

My shift is midnight to noon. Although I'm usually on the road by 11:30pm, and back to town by 9am. M-F. The hours are great since the hubby is home only on the weekends. Gives me time with him, time with my daughter & granddaughter, and time for myself.

Oh, yeah, I see you will be able to give some great insight to the ladies about what the guys deal with and how much of what the wives hear is true, exaggerated, bull, etc... lol

Nice run you got there, congrats on landing that. What time do you have to start in the mornings and what time do you make it back at night by?
