captain charlie /class a cdl/good person/

I am a 100 ton boat captain,worked on boats last 15 yrs. good job for summers,work is in Alaska.

I have a job now taking people out whale watching been with same co. for seven yrs. I am coast guard licensed. I also have a class A cdl, for the last 12 yrs,doubles,triples and tankers,hazmat. I do have a twic card as well.

I two have felonies that are over 25yrs. old,i have dwi's that are over 20 yrs.old,

The co that i work for knows of my past record as well as the u.s.coast guard commander that swore me in when i got my captains license. These people have given me a chance,and i am eternally grateful to them.

But when i apply for trucking jobs,all have turned me down,and i have even said if given the chance, i would pay to go back through school, for what ever time they require,prior to working for them and they still turn me down!

Truck driving is a passion of mine,I dream of the open road! I have been clean for over 20 yrs. No tickets, no drinking,no speeding tickets,not one blemish in all that time.

I even went to college in AK.,for five yrs., have had a steady work record for the last 20 yrs,am honest dependable,raised a child,did all the things society requires.

Yet, i can not be given a chance to be a truck driver!yes i did wrong,in another life time,so long ago.

If there is any one out there that believes that i have made a complete self rehabilitation,and could use a good person to drive for them , then please give me shot,i know you won't be disappointed.
