I was a truck driver for 12 years. In the years I spent on the road I heard and saw some really crazy things. The one thing I remember the most is the guys I worked for always said they paid too much money in taxes and couldn't put enough away for a rainy day. (retirement)

I joined this site to tell the stories from my years as a driver, read yours and blog about the world of trucking how it has changed over the years and how it will change in the years to come. I will post articles for drivers old and new on how they might be losing money they work so hard for.

Now that I am off the road and in the role of a financial adviser. I feel the people I can best serve are the ones I spent over a decade working side by side with.

I sometimes miss being on the road with you guys but I have a young family and home is where I want and need to be. I'm looking forward to reading more of the stories from the road.
