Beth Ainsworth Female experienced San Antonio, Texas trucker getting back on the road with your help

by Beth Ainsworth
(San Antonio, TX, US)

Acquired CDL in 2007 Drove OTR with a subsidiary of American Eagle for 6 months. This improved my driving ability and made me a more patient understanding driver.

I have hit a wall in my search to get back into driving. Willing to retrain or prove my skills to get hired. Willing to work in a team. I saw most of the US but excel at regional since I drive this area inTexas quite often. All my kids are grown and home life is settled. Health is good.

I need someone to give me a chance to prove the kind of asset I could be to a good company. I have ambitions of being an owner op some day and earn a good living to take care of myself and my disabled mate.

Have a small dog I would like to take along someday as well.

Hey Beth how ya doin, fellow San Antonian here. Try a company called Link America. www.lkam.com Im pretty sure you just need 6 months for them. I drove for them for 3 months and it was a pretty good company just got a bad apple of a truck. There is a FULL physical excercising and checking heart rates so dont waste your time if your not in somewhat good condition. Started me off at .38 and try and get in their 57' regional run. This route gets you home quite a bit actually. That run is TX and LA and some surrounding states but in 3 months I had one load to LA and one to KS so its not often you get that far away. Mostly picking up card board boxes off I-10 and W.W. White and going to Del Rio, Laredo, Houston things like that. They are pretty good about having loads ready when you empty so your not sitting around waiting like most companies. Good thing about living here is its pretty much the heart of their distribution so you get through to your bed about 3 times a week and if you play your cards right you will run out of hours by saturday and get a reset at home. I will say I never had a reset anywhere else but home. They are good about giving you the time off you ask for and the pay isnt horrible, not great, but not horrible. Then again were is right? Anyway give em a shout. Real nice guy in recruiting named Colt. You can fill out a app online and I think they even have people you can talk to online during the week. Good Luck and let us know how you do.
