Advice for a New truckers wife

We are so new to this. My hubby started this week. He was to be home tonight. Is planned to be home every other night. But as can happen, the engine light came on and he is sitting.

I am doing OK with it so far, but I wish he would call a little more. I am going to have to ask him to. One call a day isn't enough for me. I want to be told goodnight. And so does his daughter lol.

So any advice for a new wife would be awesome!

it does get easier over time, I have been a truckers wife for 16 years, you have to find a common meeting ground that both you and your husband can agree with, don't hold back how you feel, but remember it's not easy for him either out there being away from home.
