What is difference between studio and condo sleepers

by Rob
(Des Plaines, IL)

I'm just getting into trucking, but with an eventual eye on being an O/O...I know the size of a sleeper can make a difference in many ways, good and bad (comfort/fuel economy) but I haven't been able thus far to find an answer to this question. Can anyone help me?

Answer: A Studio is a KW sleeper that will go on several models of their trucks.

A Condo is a freightliner sleeper truck. The condo truck is made with a stand up sleeper.
It doesn't go on other truckers.

Condo vs studio NEW
by: Anonymous

I think most refer to a studio as a larger sleeper, one with the couch but not a toilet and shower, condos have 1or2 beds(2is hard to find) a fridge, 1 or 2 burner stove and a bathroom. Both are available on multiple makes of trucks. Check out legacy sleepers

Studio is better then a condo NEW

Studio Sleepers usually have a couch and living area in the bottom and a bunk on top where Condos have bunk beds, studios usually have Microwaves, TV's Refridgerators, and are like a little studio apartment...Hence the Word Studio.
