What does the law say concerning leasing a truck?

My other half is a trucker and has been for at least 5 years now. He thought trying the lease purchase program with Jb Hunt was a good idea. Wrong!

For 5 months we had not income coming in because between the cost of the lease and the cost of fuel, there was nothing left. Is it lawful for them to keep everything.

He was also fired for no real reason except that they claimed his log book was wrong with is doubtful after doing them for 5 years and never having a problem before.

They have also decided he can not have the $3,500 he had put in an escrow account that they required.

I believe we are due it back but they will not even return our calls.
