State has no record of my refusal

My former company reported to DAC that I refused a Drug test. Thing is the state has no record of it and I still have a current CDL and DOT physical.
Yes I made a mistake and refused but I thought they were supposed to report it to the state if I refuse. I was just terminated and haven't heard anything since. What can I do?
