over weight loads?

i was 940lb over weight and my dispatch sent me a msg after i advised of my over weihkt and told me that it was my choice to run over weight,can i report the company to the dot?

They actually cleared their side when they gave you the option so all the weight is off their shoulders and on yours. At the end of the day you get the ticket not them.

You are the only one that can protect your license. If you feel like you are doing something wrong, get it cleared through dispatch.

I know we have all ran illegal a time or two and going back to the shipper to get a load fixed is a big pain and takes time but if you get a ticket you got no one to blame but yourself.
