is a driver responsible for part 390 fed safety regs-gen. policy?

I had recently started driving for an owner/operator.i went across a scale in Ky. the trooper gave the truck 5 violations(internet register,unified register,no motor fuel tax,and no weight distance tax license)who should be responsible for the tickets?none were moving violations.

thanks for your support jimmy.i just got back from ky.where the d.a. and the judge agreed and found me totally not responsible for any of the 5 tickets.

Who pays tickets received on the truck?

The truck owner pays. His responsibility. And make sure he pays if your name is on the ticket anywhere. Jimmy
