In Colorado, can a trucking co charge a driver for vehicle damage

In Colorado, can a trucking company charge a company driver for vehicle damage? The company I drive for is trying to get me to sign a paper that says they can make me pay $2,500.00 if I do any damage to their equipment. is that legal?

The company can dismiss your employment if u dont sign but they dont have the right to force that on u unless u sign that paper. Happened to me b4. Dont sign. Companies have insurance to cover damage and they also have an account with $$ for issues like that.
