i'm engaged to a over the road truck driver who i love so much

hi,

I've been engaged to a over the road truck driver now for 1 year. I can't say it's easy and at times its the hardest thing in the world.

But i have a good man who loves me and sacrifices every day for me. We call each other up to ten to twenty times a day. in a month we averaged almost 500 calls to each other. we always know where each other are and what were doing.

If I'm out and about I always let him know where I'm at, what road or hwy I'm on, and when i get home, and the sames goes for him.

We feel this is important in case there is a long time in between our calls. and then we'll call someone close to find them if they don't answer their phone. this is not a not trusting issue, but a love for each other to make sure were safe and okay.

We call or text each other when we awake, call each other before we go to sleep. these help the days past faster(plus marking the calendar)till the day he pulls in the driveway.

I try and stay busy at home, pay the bills, care for the pets, keep the yard up and most of all get things ready for our special day. all i can say is treasure the time you have when your together.

Have fun, laugh and enjoy your quality time together, because those three days I get a month are the most precious days of my life. I keep him informed of each day like he was here so he is never left out.

He is up to date on everything, because the last thing you want on these three days is getting caught up, arguing on stupid stuff. I'm a military kid, so when my dad was gone so much, my mom was there for him and still is to this day.

So i know I'm here for him while he's out doing his job, to make our life wonderful. you've got to comment to this life, for if you can't, it's not fair to him or you.

but for me, I'll be there behind him 100% till death does us apart.

It doesn't bother me, like you think. You've got to understand, being a military brat for 21 years and seeing my dad gone, sometimes a year at a time. My mother held down the fort, and stayed loyal to my dad. And that is what I am doing here. He is out there making a living for his family. Sure, we don't like being apart, but the love we have for each other, keeps us together. This is no jail sentence. This is a comment he has taken on, to provide for his family, and for his family to stand by him. Like I had said before, we talk alot to each other everyday. 10 to 20 times a day. Even though we are apart up to 3 weeks at a time, it doesn't seem like it. If you go into a relationship, and your commented to stand by your partner, in no matter what their job maybe. They will be comment to you. I am sorry you think the way you do, but that doesn't apply here. He is my best friend, my soul mate, and my partner in life, and will be in death. Remember, you got to have the trust, the comment for this type of life.

Your happy seeing your husband three days a month?

I think the wives who's husbands are spending a life sentence in jail,see their man more than that.

Three days a month is all you get to see him and your happy?

Seem's like being a truckers wife is liked being a wife to a man spening a life term in jail. I think they get to visit more than three days a month.
