If the mud flaps were ripped off at the place you were unloading (at a dump) and on the way back to your home base, you were given the ticket, does it still go on your record. Company worked for was contacted and driver was told to bring it to the shop when he got back and mud flaps would be replaced. Company paid the fine the courthouse.

during your pretrip should have seen the missing mudflap and had it repaired. because YOU were driving the vehicle it goes on your record.
