I-94 Outside of Detroit in rush hour ticket for following too close

Michigan Highway Patrol pulled me over for following to closely during rush hour,everyone was close to each others bumper and traffic was only moving 20 mph!


The officer was very rude and issued me a dangerous driving ticket for following to close.

Sounds like you got shafted, Erik. Hey, it's not a perfect world. Almost impossible to fight, right? Some drivers like the 'pre-paid' legal that's available. Some states you can fight it through the mail. I did in San Diego a while back and won by default. You have to post a bond, but will get it back if you win. Check out the Detroit/Michigan laws to see if you can. Jimmy
