I have bipolar which is now managed by medications, will any companies hire me?

(Maine)

I have suffered with bi-polar for several years now, but I have been managing my (mental) illness successfully with medication.

I lost my CDL when I moved states and the doctors treating me would not sign off on the CDL license transfer that I was capable of driving OTR (they will sign off now).

I am otherwise healthy and have a clean driving record. I am just wondering if I go back to school to get my CDL, will any companies hire me?

Getting a Trucking Job With Bipolar NEW
by: Hervy

I would say call around to trucking companies and ask them if they would hire you with Bipolar.

Also, call to DOT medical examiners to see if they will issue you a medical card with bipolar.

Congratulations on successfully being able to control it!
