Fix Penalty Fine For Not Wearing a Seatbelt

I'm a trucker in the UK, I was charged today 13/11/13 for not wearing a seat belt in my truck. Do I need to inform my employer. Do the police notify VOSA? Does VOSA in turn notify my employer?

I don't know about there in Scotland mate but in the US, you are required to inform you employer.
