by Rusty Martin Jr
(Sugar Grove, Pa)

HEY ALL, RUSTY HERE AGAIN. LETTING YOU ALL KNOW I HAVE FINALLY GOTTEN MY CDL TODAY. 29, 10 HOUR DAYS LATER, I FINALLY GOT IT. MTC WAS REALLY GOOD TO ME AND I CAN'T SAY I WOULD HAVE CHANGED A THING. EVERYTHING WENT REALLY SMOOTH. I CAN'T WAIT TO GET BACK HOME AND SEE MY FAMILY AGAIN. BEING IN ST.LOUIS HAS BEEN A GREAT EXPERIENCE FOR ME AND DIFFENITLY NOT ONE I SHALL SOON FORGET. TO EVERYONE ON HERE WHO HAS SUPPORTED ME ALONG MY JOURNEY INTO A NEW CAREER, I THANK YOU. IF IT WASN'T FOR ALL YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT, I'M NOT TOO SURE I WOULD HAVE MADE IT THIS FAR, AND NOW I'M STANDING ONTOP OF THE WORLD. THE POSSIBLITIES HAVE BECOME ENDLESS TO ME AS OF TODAY. I CAN'T THANK EVERYONE AT MTC ENOUGH FOR ALL THEY HAD DONE FOR ME. THE INSTUCTORS WERE ALWAYS THERE FOR ME IF I NEEDED THEM. I DIDN'T QUIT AND NEITHER DID THEY. WELL ALL, THANK YOU AGAIN AND HOPEFULLY NOW FOR SUREM I HOPE TO SEE YOU LATER ON DOWN THAT ENDLESS OPEN ROAD. 10-4. BE SAFE OUT THERE AND GOD BLESS.

Hey Sara
by: Rusty

Hello Sara, really the only advise I can give you from my experience are these: Pay close attention, and really apply yourself! If you can do those two things you'll be just fine. I'm not sure on how all the other schools do their thing, but when I went in St.Louis, Missouri; if you really applied yourself and you listened to the instructors, things seem to go very easy. If you don't things can be very hard.

There was a guy whom I went to school with here that only wanted to do things his way and not the instructors way, and he ended up failing a lot of his tests and stuff and the school ended up kicking him out. He still has to pay for the schooling on top of not even getting his CDL. Just really apply yourself and pay close attention and you'll be fine.

Good Luck to you and take care.

Rusty is feeling proud.
by: Jimmy

So, you now realize that what matters is what YOU want, not what other negative people say. You brushed the naysayers aside, you said to yourself you're going to do it, and you did do it. Yeah, you had to work for it, but anything worthwhile takes that extra effort sometimes. You've just experienced a valuable life lesson. Keep in touch. Jimmy
