DUI in 2010 how long must i wait before getting CDL

How long do I have to wait to apply to get my CDL.
DUI happened in Hawaii- all SR22 and all completed.
I live in colorado now. Yes school told me three, but I read 10 yrs and then 5yrs. How do I find out?
