I want to become a trucker but don't have my GED. My question is, in the trucking schools do they help obtain your GED while working on getting your CDL

Yeah, they do, of course.... NEW

...but not without exorbitant costs.

And then they "place" you in a shit company.

My suggestion (since you posted up)

Find a friend, or a friend of a friend, who owns a small trucking business. Offer to drive with the bosses son for free, or for trade. People do it on this forum all the time.

Learn that way. Not from a school. They scam the shiz out of you and if aint what you want, you still put down 3K

There ARE BETTER WAYS to learn....

Trucking Schools should be a LAST resort, and BTW, most of the good companies won't hire you with "Trucking School" as your "experience"

Find an acquaintance, or someone who knows someone.....
