My cdl is set to expire before I am able to get the truck back to my boss, am I able to bobtail it back as long as my personal drivers license is still valid?

Comments for can you bobtail with an expired cdl as long as my personal drivers license is valid?

2 separate licenses ? NEW

Your CDL and car license are one and the same. Unless your medical card is expiring, if your CDL expires, your car license also expires. Jimmy

At least not where I live....

You have a separate test now for airbrakes, so if you don't have that, you are screwed. Also, you have to pull into any open scale, which could also present problems.

Class is is indeed for "combination" vehicles but ever since they split the airbrake restriction, my guess is that this is where they would get you
