Can I get in trucking school with two minor traffic violations?

by Justin
(Gastonia NC)

I have a minor moving violation and an unpreventable wreck on me. A woman pulled out in front of me and with nothing else to do I had to slam on the brakes and lost control of my truck.

The officer did not write me any tickets or anything.

Minor traffic violations
by: Hervy

Justin, you won't have trouble getting into a trucking school with minor traffic violations. You might have a problem getting hired depending on what those violations are.

You can call around to trucking companies and ask if they would hire you with the charges you have to get an idea of where you stand before you go to trucking school.

The older these charges are the less they affect your job opportunities.

Not the proper question
by: Joe Creek

The proper question is not to ask if you can get into a school as many schools will gladly accept your money whether you qualify for employment or not. The proper question to ask is are you "qualified for employment". Otherwise you risk not being employed.
