Can I drive a truck 2 years after a stroke

by Billie J. Ward
(Joplin, MO)

I have a good driving record. I had a mild stroke back in May of 2012. I lost some function temporarily on my right side. However, after physical therapy I was able to recover 90% of right side use.

My kids are grown and I've always wanted to drive a truck. Is this still a possible career for me?

i remember a guy in brooklyn ny, he was closing the gate to the yard and had a stroke, he was driving soon after.
big thing is can you pass a dot physical.
go get one done, by us in ny its 55 dollars and you get your dot card on the spot,

not like when the dot physical is thru a company orientation.
