felons in canada
by: Anonymous

well, probably not. even if your charge is an old one, you will probaly need to get in touch with the court, you can fill out papers with canada, it would then be up to canada to decide. i have an old misdeanemor, they will not allow me in unless i jump thru their hoops.i did not bother with it. i been there once, its not that great a place.if u want to fill out the papers and try for yourself, it would take a little time. good luck to you

Canada has restrictions on entering the country with a felony
by: Jeff

The answer is Not no for everybody. You will have to fill out some paper work and wait as long as two months for a response to determine if you will be allowed into Canada If your felony is less than five years old, then you will not be allowed into Canada.

If your felony is more than five years old then you can apply for a FAST (Free And Secure Trade) card. You can get information about the FAST card @cbsa-asfc.gc, aka, Canada Border Service Agency. This will refer you to Canadas (Criminal Rehabilitation Program). I hope this will be of some help to you.

Keep us posted and put your FAITH in Jesus.
