Are there any trucking companies left willing to give me a second chance

by Chris
(P.A.)

2 years ago, almost exactly, I had a Jack knife accident on black ice while hauling a flat bed load for falcon transport.

Falcon fired me for it. I have had no luck finding a trucking job with any one else ever since and im getting tired of being punished for an accident that resulted in no injuries what so ever. that happened 2 years ago.

Are there any companies left out there who would be willing to give me another shot?

YEAH U CAN STILL GET A JOB BUT IT WILL BE AFTER THAT JACKNIFE HAS BEEN OVER 3 YEARS. THE TRUCKING INDUSTRY FOR SOME REASON DOESN'T TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION THAT BEING ON THE ROAD FOR 11 HOURS A DAY, 6 DAYS A WEEK THAT SOMETHING IS BOUND TO OCCUR. THE PROBLEM WITH THIS FIELD IS THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE GETTING THERE CDL THAT U ARE REPLACEABLE AFTER A FK UP. KEEP UR HEAD UP AND DONT GIVE IN, JUST FIND SOME WAY TO KEEP UR FOOT IN THE DOOR.

how to score a second chance in life
by: Hervy

Hey Chris,

Man you know how that goes, too often people act like they never made mistakes and they look over others in need of that second chance.

Other times though people's hands are tied and they got rules and regulations to follow so it's only so much they can do.

Either way, at the end of the day, that just means that you have to try harder, call more companies, knock on more doors. Fair or not, that is the way it is.

Don't give in, there are tens of thousands of trucking companies.

Read these 2 pages, if you haven't already for ideas about scoring that second chance. You may have to work somewhere you don't particularly like for a couple of years just so you have some history to combat the record.
