isnt the purpose of the sap program the fix acording to fmcsa regs? so the reason the big guys say no is cause the doors are being knocked on daily with people willing to work for next to nothing with out the drug or other personal problems.

strange how the market works.

smaller companies cant find drivers so they work with ya,

best case scenerio is to look in the local newspaer classifieds on sundays

local companies that do local work wharehouse to customers or tristae work etc....

good luck

Find a trucking company after positive drug results NEW
by: Hervy

Congrats on getting cleaned up Wayne. You got good advice. The smaller companies are your best chance for getting a job with that record.

The only thing that is much better for effectiveness in landing that job is networking. the more people you meet that is working at companies where trucking positions are available the easier it will be to get on through those people that you know.

With this in mind talk to all the people you already know to make sure they don't know someone to introduce you to.

After that, get out to the areas where you live where there are lot of companies with trucking jobs. Lunchtime at the local restaurants or gas stations might be a good place to strike up conversation.
