Advice For Turning 1 Acre Lot Into Truck Parking

I have a little over an acre that I would like to transition into a parking lot for rigs and large trucks, what would you say are some non-negotiables that need to have/include (security, spacing, entrance, ect.)

Just do it! And don't get scared with the comment below. Its is a nice profitable thing to do which doesn't require lots of errands. That's are no risks eather.

Converting property into truck parking

Have you applied/contacted your county recorders office of your intention? There is a few things you must be in compliance with city ordinances as well.

I would think the property must be commercialized. Applying for a business license I am sure is part of it too. Paying taxes for your profits. I would think you would need security surrounding your business not to mention a bonding and expensive property Insurance to cover any losses of trucks/containers/etc...which some policies require over a million dollar protection policy...rigs are expensive to replace, not to mention if the person who owns it loses any business behind the loss....

Just some things to think about and be prepared for....Good Luck in your new business venture.
