Say jimmy and I are trucking together!

We both do a 15 mins. Pretrip and it was all good. Then Jimmy stared to drive for a few hrs or so. Then Jimmy drive in to a Truck Stop, we fuel up and then he told me to drive a few hrs. or so.

How do you log that in your logbook?

Oh NO!

You would log that under, im broke and flag it as a big waste of time haha. Get on the wheel and drive your 11 hours and go to bed. You will be eating top ramen if you run like that. You are allowed to drive 11 hours and work for 14.

If you switch out the other person is eating on your clock so there is no point to it. Yall are gonna be looking for hours before your trip is even started

Thomas might be teaming.
by: Jimmy

Teams cannot drive less than their total hours, in other words, they cannot split up driving time in less than 10/11 hour increments. In the old days, they could. (4and4, 5and5, 10and10) but since the "new" rules came into play in '04, no can do. If you drove less than 10/11, you would have to have a 10 hour break before you could drive again. It's in the "bible", read it.

So, Thomas, how's the driving job going? Jimmy

Your line goes to on duty while he is driving thin your line goes to driving and his goes to on duty after the stop.
