Trucking Life-General Questions

by Seth Bussert
(Grand Rapids, MI)

Hello,
This is Seth Bussert from Grand Rapids, MI. I am a screen printer & am designing a line of trucking themed shirts to distribute in various retail stores. My problem is I don't have an inside source for trucking lingo, words of wisdom, proverbs, superstitions, etc... that I can incorporate with the artwork. I've done 12 designs so far & already I am getting cliche'. I need to stay away from the stereotypical "keep on truckin", or "king of the road" phrases that are so popular on existing shirts that are seen throughout stores now. I would like to find someone that I can either call or e-mail with questions. Also, I would like to possibly send pictures of the designs so whoever can look at them & give me an idea of verbiage I could use. I've sent a pic of a design along so you can see the quality of art I am doing.

Can anyone contact me pertaining to this? I would appreciate any help that can be given. I am willing to reimburse or barter printed garments in exchange for support.

Thanks, Seth
