Truck Driving School Questions with a felony

Alright I'm registered for trucking school and it starts next year and I'm paying the whole thing but there's a question, I have a recent felony but it's about to be 2 years old, I wonder will I be able to find a job with that felony on my record after I finish school. Am I wasting my time and money.

I believe a person should get a second chance especially if they want to change for the better why companies can't look at that and give u a shot to better yourself all felons ain't monsters, some just made dumb decisions but smart people change.
