My husband and I have been together for 8 years. He has been driving for almost 10 years now.

I stay at home with our two children who are 7 and 4. He has worked OTR, with the oil field, local, and now regional. He is home 2 to 3 days a week. Which is wonderful.

We decided this year it was time to settle into a home, no more moving, no more renting. I feel like with a trucker husband life is constantly changing. We definitely have had our ups and downs but the years have flown by.

I am looking forward to chating with some of the other wives. I have read a few profiles and relate to the fact that having friends that aren't married to a trucker is hard at times.

I was raised in a trucker family so I am used to enjoying home time.
