Have been working in the oilfield for the past 21 years on drilling side. The last 11 years as a field engineer even tho it was a passenger vehicle I averaged 60,000 miles a year with no accidents. I am also used to being away from home for months at a time already. I have a solid work ethic and know what it takes to be successful. I have just finished a CDL training course and have Class A CDL with doubles and triples, tanker, and Haz Mat endorsements. I am seeking either local or OTR employment opportunity. I understand I am new to the industry and may have to submit to further training but it is the career path I have chosen, I also hope that anyone who wishes to contact me will realize I'm not fresh out of high school of college and know what hard work is about already.

congrats. wish of best of luck to you. plenty of starter companies or second chance companies out there. just have to find the right one to stick with for one to 2 years and then move out to better companies. best of to do is go to nearest truck stop and talk to drivers and of grab them hiring ad books and go through and do research on companies and call them to talk to a recruiter. 2 companies to avoid is western express Inc and ptl Inc.
