Relaxing at the end of the day

by Jimmy
(Kingman,Az)

I always liked long runs, coast to coast is best, then anything that's long. If i leave the Jersey coast and have 4 days to deliver in Calif, i know i can run at a leisurely pace and get my rest and of course relax. My way to relax is get the truck fueled and post tripped, i now know it's ready to go in the morning. Then a shower and a good meal without having to rush. I prefer to stay out of the truck until bedtime because i need that time away from the truck since I am in it 22 hours a day.

Some drivers can drive all day, lay in the bunk and watch t.v. then sleep. When do they ever get out of the truck! Jimmy
