I am an experienced driver (4 years) who just happened to get put out of service in 2009 for having cold beer in the fridge back in my sleeper.
The rule I violated was fmcsa rule sec. 392.5(a). There was no citation, no charge, just 10hr out of service, which is the only penalty for that rule.
Because of that I have been unable to find a truck driving job with any of the major carriers. I would like to get something. My 3yr MVR is clean, I have no felonies, no DUI's, no abandoned equipment, etc.
You'd think that my overall record would count for something...
