Hi My name is Nikole and I just happend to find this page through Trucker Wives Magazine. My husband has been an Owner Operator OTR Driver for almost 4 years.

We have been married for 4 and a half years now and we have 3 children (ages 4 1/2,2 1/2 and 2 1/2 mos old)He first started out as a local driver but loads didnt pay anymore so he had to go out on the road.

I was ok with it,but it does get tough when you have to be both the mom and dad and make sure everything on the homefront is still going.

He comes home on the weekends,but its he's here then he's gone.We talk on the phone several times a day and our kids talk to him alot too.

No one knows what I really go through and what my life is like. We have been through alot in the past 4 years,but him being gone has made our marriage stronger.

I glad there are these websites that other trucker wives can talk to one another because no one understands our lives like we do!
