New to dating a truck driver and don't know if I'm being played

I am new to all of this. I started dating a trucker who I love more than anything in the world but my question is how long does it actually take to get a load.

I mean he will spend 4 or 5 hours getting a load and says he's not allowed on the phone for any of it and also the only time he really has any time to be on the phone is between midnight and two am when he is falling asleep other than that we get to talk very rarely he says he is always without signal or getting a load or in really bad traffic.

That which I can believe cause he does go to LA a lot but what about the rest of the time I just want to know if I am being played or not.

My boyfriend is a Truck driver and talks to me all day even when waiting for load. Now, I know he plays me in the evening with the lot lizards because he doesn't answer his phone till he is done getting his sex from the nasty ones.

I am in a 2 yr relationship with an OTR. I actually worked with him every day for 2 yrs. I felt something bothering me. Something going on behind my back.I'm thinking it's crazy to think this cuz we're always together.

Then I noticed strange things in the middle of the night. No real explanation. It ended in a fight and I left for 3 weeks and got back together with him.

We were at another drivers house and I noticed he was getting a long with the other drivers. I actually caught them in odd things together. Wife was act real strange.

I can't seem to get it out of my head. He tells me I didn't see anything. We are back together, not together on road yet again.

Lady below with 12 -2am phone calls, makes me wonder? ??

You seem to have an issue. I think I will call it assholitis. Did you even bother to read the whole paragraph before you decided to write your asinine comment?

First off. He is NOT married. Not only did I ask. He assured me he had no other girlfriends or a wife

HE was the one who suggested we only see each other. He was the one who said he only wanted to sleep with me. He brought it up.

I am certainly not and have NEVER been clingy. I didn't call or text every day or even more than every 3 days unless he texted or called me first.

In the mean time he was texting me that he missed me and little xxx and ooos. What the hell? Then he wouldn't call.

While he may have lied about his intentions, in no way does this make me some clingy psycho. It makes me someone who believed in someone. That's it. I believed for a short little bit in love again. That isn't a bad thing.

While he may not be the one for me. I do know what my heart is for. I know I'm cute. I have a darn good job, I've owned my own home for 12 years and I'm a good person. So if he isn't the one, well that's okay. I will be okay.

I hope to one day find a man who makes me feel like he does. Until then...well it's the dating scene. I'm not settling.

Why would you try again with someone that says nothing serious? I'm glad I don't have to worry about this type of act from a stranger that I may have just met and already clingy red flag that bro still loves his wife for sure!!!!!

U should've known it from the start but guess u have to find truth in forums he has someone else he lobes love and sex are two separate things he doesnt have feelings he just wanted to get pleasure but he still is in love with his one at home his heart belongs with her he doesn't want feelings for u nothing serious period

Hi,

Well he IS a flatbed driver. Now I feel like a heel. Well sorta. Cause now he says that he just wanted someone to hang with while he was in town here. He didn't want anything serious.

Funny, but I fell head over heels for this guy. I purposely hadn't dated anyone in about 8 months. I needed to clear my head.

Since he told me that I broke it off with him. I've went on quite a few dates, and I've been asked out by more than I care to go on or have the energy for. Not ONE of those guys make me feel like he does. I kept thinking if I just go out on dates, I will feel better about this situation. I don't want to sleep with any of them and I haven't. The feelings just aren't there. Is this guy an idiot or am I?

What the hell is wrong with me? Do I try again with him? It's been 2 weeks since I've had any texts with him.

Chances are u are the one being played for a fool the trucker has weekends to go home my husband comes home on weekends and days throughout the week but I'm a manager and he won't have to be otr for long he Carries his swamper snoopy with him which is our Jack Russel mix dog snoopy snoop

Cheating trucker?

I am wondering the same thing. I also recently just started dating a trucker. HE was the one who brought up being monogamous.

However, In the last weeks something always seems to come up and he is MIA for the weekend . He doesn't talk on phone nor does he text..usually until Monday.

I almost think he has a girlfriend.

I am fed up. I'm angry and now he sent me this message today that read:

"Sweetie I've had a very bad weekend and it cost me oodles of cash I wasn't expecting. I'm not in a pleasant mood in the slightest. In fact I'm outright hateful. Please excuse me while I deal with myself. It's not you. We are good."

I think I am being used. I hate waiting by the phone hoping he'll call when I know he won't. I find myself crying in the middle of doing a chore because I am thinking about him.

I know I am better than this. I know I deserve better. I'm pretty. I'm smart, I have a good job and a great personality.

He's got about 1 day to turn this around or I am done.
