I'm am the 49 year old wife of a seasoned trucker who loves his job. Being a trucker's wife is difficult sometimes. It's a job of "hurry up and wait" and meantime back at the ranch, I'm waiting as well.
My husband is an owner/operator so finances are uncertain at times. But I've learned, especially since being a trucker's wife, life is just as uncertain so its best not to sweat the small stuff, make adjustments for the big stuff and keep it moving.
The worse part is not having anyone to talk to that understands. I'm so glad that I found this forum and hope to get a chance to join in on the chat.
Oh we're also HUGE Dallas fans !!! This pic is when I took him to our first Dallas/Eagles game in Dallas for his 50th Birthday two years ago...can't wait to go this year for my big 50th!
