Looking to relocate to a small town.

Hi guys and gals here.I'm looking to relocate from central PA to a nice,small,cozy town somewhere preferably south,or southwest.Tired of freezing my butt off up here.

My dad was a trucker all his life,but he's been deceased for 25 years.I'd love to hear his stories about what he was hauling and where it was going.I figured that if anybody knows of a really cool small town to settle in that won't break the bank,it's truckers.

You all do one hell of a job too.Weather,idiot drivers,being away from family.Takes a special person to do what you do.Hope y'all could steer me in the right direction.


Here's the deal,I'm 50,I'm not rich,but I'll have a few grand to keep me afloat till I can get settled somewhere.At least 10.I only need one or two gas stations,diner,a decent bar or two.grocery store.I think you get it.

I'm not a suit and tie type. Just jeans and a t-shirt. Not looking to get rich,just make enough to pay my bills and enjoy life surrounded by decent folk.
