Hey Justin I’m in the same position. Trying to get my class B CDL but can’t rent a truck anywhere without putting it under a business name. I have promise of employment but need to get m cdl. I have my permit and passed all my tests but at a standstill because I can’t rent a truck. What did you do?

Doubtful any company will hire you unless you graduate from a cdl school. Here's some free cdl schools if you agree to work for the trucking company for 12 months after graduation.
CRST has school and some dedicated accounts running Caterpillar parts to California every week.
Contract Freighters www.cfidrive.com has cdl school and a good job at graduation.
Stevens Transport www.stevenstransport.com has a real good cdl school and a job at graduation.
