I'm a truck enthusiast since a small boy my dad was a New York City fireman. He always took me to the firehouse that is when I fell in love with trucks. At 10 we drove cross country to visit relatives and that is when I fell in love with tractor trailers and trucking.

It was then that I decided I was going to be an owner operator. At 21 I signed up for a trucking school , my dad took me aside and talked me out of it and taking all the nyc civil servant tests I took all and passed all. I decided to drive a bus for the nyc transit authority 1982. My grandfather worked for them and retired and he seemed to enjoy it.

In 1990 I got divorced and after some thinking I decided I was going to find the tractor I always dreamed about, after a year long search I found a beautiful 75 Peterbilt 352 cabover.

I spent $20,000 to restore her and worked weekends for a large supermarket company shop rite going through a broker, in 2003 one of the owner ops who had a contract and asked me if I'd like to drive for him he just traded in his 362 for a brand new 379.

I worked for 3 owner ops in the next several years until I got divorced again from wife 2 . I now own 7 classics , 5. 352,s 1 359 little window with double eagle sleeper and 1 white Freightliner double ink cabover. I am retiring from the transit authority on sept 6 2016 . my fiancé and her kids live in Florida. I'm in New Jersey.

I don't want to work full time and most companies don't have part time. I just want to do it as a hobby and spending money and be able to get down to see my woman and kids till they graduate and we can be together full time .

I was going to put one of my trucks on the road but don't want the hassles with emissions I enjoyed driving for the owner ops at shop rite but l want to go over the road also I have refferences. 34 1/2 yrs at the NYCTransit driving buses in nyc 15 years as a shop shifter 28 yrs part time owner op with my own trucks.
