Is there scheduling flexibility? Possibility for extended time off?

Do some companies in this industry offer some scheduling flexibility? Could a driver take a month off in the summer? Maybe even 3-6 months off at a time? I'm thinking of being gung ho for six months at a time followed by periods of a retirement like lifestyle. Is it possible? Click here to read or post comments.
