I have a drug crime on my license will it stop me from getting a trucking job?

I have an attempted possession of Vicodin on my license in Feb 2011. My license were suspended for 30 days, but no points because it was not in a vehicle. Will this stop me from getting a job?

FIRST OFF HOW DO YOU GET A attempted possession? EITHER YOU WERE IN POSSESSION OR YOU WEREN'T. MY DAD IS RETIRED FROM THE A.B.I DRUG TASK FORCE AND I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF A CHARGE LIKE THAT. MAYBE THEY JUST MADE UP A CHARGE I HAVE SEEN THAT HAPPEN. BUT I HAVE A FELONY CHARGE AND I CALLED AROUND AND WHEN I TELL THEM I HAVE A FELONY THEY ASK WAS IT FOR DRUGS, OR VIOLET CRIME? THANK GOD THEY WEREN'T. JUST CALL AROUND TO DIFFERENT COMPANIES AND ASK.

JT that is one strange charge man, lol. Attempted to possess. Is that like trying to buy from an undercover or something, just curious you don't have to answer.

In any case, I would be speculating if I answered.

So I will speculate here....I think someone will hire you. At least after Feb if not now. I just hope that if you have any type of problem you would seek help first.

No speculation aside....The only way to know for sure is to call around to a lot of companies and ask them if they would hire you with a attempted to possess Vicodin charge.
